Robert Lee Nelson, born on September 21, 1955, in Cherokee County, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 surrounded by love and family. He was the beloved son of the late Marvice and Opal Nelson.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Joe Nelson, Donna McDuff, Tenna (Stephen) Johnson, Elvis Nelson, Darlene Nelson, Dedra (Travis) Sanders, and Karen Nelson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will remember his kind spirit and gentle presence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Charlie L. Nelson, Marvice Nelson Jr., and Garland Nelson.
