Darrell Potts was born on August 28, 1972to the late parentage of Elmo and Doris Potts in Rusk County. Darrell graduated from New Summerfield High School. He loved watching wrestling and cooking shows.
He worked at Gateway Community partners in Jacksonville for 4yrs.
He was preceded in death by his father; Elmo Potts, sister; Cynthia King, grandparents; John Alton and Christine Lacy, uncles; Jerry Dale Lacy, John Edward Lacy, and Norris Hart.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother; Doris Potts of New Summerfield, Texas. Nancy Potts of New Summerfield, Texas, brothers; Jamie Potts and Christopher Potts of New Summerfield, Texas, three nieces; Jennifer King, Jessica King and Nijah Lee of New Summerfield, Texas, two aunts; Dianne Lacy of Leander, Texas, and Charlene Adams of Troup, Texas, and two uncles; Alton (Janice) Lacy of New Summerfield, Texas and Earl (Princella) Potts of Price, Texas, along with a host of cousins and loved ones.
