Jessica Renee King, affectionately known as “Jess,” was a loving mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to many. She gained her heavenly wings on Monday, August 17, 2026.
Jessica was born on February 28, 1995, in Jacksonville, Texas, to the late James King and Cynthia King. She attended New Summerfield High School, where she graduated.
Jess worked for a short time in housekeeping at Twin Oaks Nursing Home and Legacy Nursing. After giving birth to her son, she became a stay-at-home mother, dedicating her time to caring for him.
Jess enjoyed spending time with her family and especially treasured the time she shared with her son. She also enjoyed Bible study and knitting. Her love for her family and the memories she created with those closest to her will forever be cherished.
Jessica was preceded in death by her parents, James King and Cynthia King; grandparents, Griffin King, Odean King, and Elmo Potts; aunt, Betty King; and uncle, Darrell Potts.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son, Fred Chandler; sister, Jennifer King; grandmother, Doris Potts; aunts, Nancy Potts, Faye King (Glen), and Celestine McGowan (Floyd); uncles, Jamie Potts and Chris Potts; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Jessica’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
